2007 Hall of Fame PlayoffsA mixed bag for this year's playoffs - we have two returning teams from last season and two new teams. Perennial Wagner Division winner Boar's Nest is back for the 5th straight year. It was over in Week 1. In the Cooperstown, Oaxaca faced improved teams, but pulled away for their third straight title. Leucadia also won going away, winning the Cobb Division for the first time since 2003 (when the franchise was known as Angleton). And the tightest race - with a single game preventing a return to the playoffs by Nordeast - saw Seattle win the Ruth Division - the first title in the history of that franchise.
We're guaranteed a new champion this year, as last year's winner - Milford - slipped to 3rd place. Boar's Nest is the only team in the field to have won before. They've done it in 2003 and 2005. Odd year magic? Does 2007 bring championship #3? Perhaps some hope for the other teams as this league has a history of the team with the best regular season record falling short in the playoffs. 2007 Winners:
