Startup Draft - A League About Nothing

See the Draft Rules for how these players were awarded. Remember, that all contested players are placed first - so at the beginning, all teams have 48 million in unused salary cap cash - regardless of how many uncontested draft picks they had.

Also with a rule change in 2014, players with salary 100 are placed first and when that is complete, all rosters (and salaries) are cleared temporarily to place the remaining players. In a 2015 rule change, we start the process first with any players given a #1 draft rank.

For resolution purposes, any player rank left at zero was changed to "999" (to allow for sorting).

Resolving Players with Salary 100 - Ranked #1 and Picked by 7 to 4 teams

We start with players given a #1 draft rank. For this league, no team picked a player with salary 100 and gave a #1 rank, so we skip that part.

Then we resolve in order of the count of teams selecting a player - starting with the ones picked most often.

When the same number of teams are involved, we resolve in order of position as used in baseball scoring (P = 1, C = 2, etc. - all OF =7)

When the position is the same, we resolve in alphabetical order
